LEADER TEAM
If you enjoy getting alongside young people then this is the job for you! This role will allow you use all the gifts God has given you whether that be a tent leader, worship team, activities team or media team - there are many jobs on each individual camp that you can get involved in. A real team community is built between the leaders as you serve in different ways alongside each-other over the course of a week, it can be challenging at times, but ultimately is so rewarding, and a great way to glorify God.
COOKING TEAM
Potentially the most loved people on our camps! If you're willing to cook for lots of hungry mouths, we'd love to hear from you. It's a real practical necessity for camp to be successful, and each camp is ever so blessed by each of the cooking teams!
EQUIPMENT TEAM
DCYC wouldn't be able to happen without our equipment team! A real behind the scenes role that ensure the camp site is set up for the five weeks of DCYC. If you are able to help put up tents, set out chairs, get all the crockery and cutlery then we need you! There are all types of jobs in this team and we'd love as many people to get involved as possible. At the end of camp we need to turn the campsite back into a farmers field, so we always need as many hands on deck for camp take down. If you can help with either or both of these days please get in touch.
NON-CONTACT LEADER
If you would love to spend a week down on site overlooking the beautiful sea but feel you may not be quite on the same wavelength as the youth of today then there is a job for you! There are certain jobs throughout each of the camps that don't need you to have one-to-one contact with the campers.
NIGHT SECURITY TEAM
This is one of the most important jobs at camp! It will require staying up all night making sure that the campers and campsite are kept safe. It'd be great to have you as one of the many people on this team.
