DCYC’s Junior Mixed Camp is an action-packed week that focuses on having fun as a community of God’s people in the South West. We do this through games, activities, worship, and teaching. As well as uniting as a whole camp, we also prioritise small group time at Junior Mixed, to build long-lasting friendships that grow from year to year. As with all DCYC camps, Junior Mixed hosts a range of exciting activities. We make the most of our idyllic location near Blackpool Sands and provide opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and a beach sleep. Other activities include archery, woodland exploration, field games, plus a whole range of creative craft sessions and board games that run throughout the week. Junior Mixed promises to be a memorable week of your summer holiday. It is a time that allows you not only to explore a range of sports and develop new hobbies, but to spend quality time getting to know God and the joy that knowing Him brings.

Jess, Sam and Sharon are friends that have been leaders for Junior Mixed for many years and all say that camp is the highlight of their summer. Before managing camp, they have all been involved in different roles ranging from being part of the worship band to cleaning the toilets! They are passionate about young people realising that God loves them unconditionally and helping them grow in their faith. Jess Sam and Sharon love getting to know new people and will hugely encourage any young people interested in coming to Junior Mixed Camp to come along and enjoy a fun-filled week of activities as they make friends and become part of the DCYC family.
