DCYC - Big Day Out 2021 (15 - 17 Years)

Day Event 1

Welcome to DCYC's first EVER Big Day Out. Same people, same place, same God. But this time, we’re gathering together as one camp for one big day! As you’re reading this we’re hopefully nearing a more ‘normal’ way of life. We’re finally going to be free again and able to do the things we normally do. But are we truly free? Is coming out of lockdown real freedom, or is there more to living a free life than just being able to do what you want when you want? Join us as we explore throughout the day what true freedom looks like with Jesus in our everyday.

What: The day will include interactive talks (split by age group: 10-14 and 15-17), combined worship sessions, seminars on topical issues, and a round of exciting afternoon activities including art stations, inflatables, mobile caving, a group dance workshop and more. We will finish the day with a hot meal and some early evening entertainment. Where: This will be a whole mini-DCYC day held on the DCYC campsite at Southwood Farm, Strete, Devon TQ6 0PN. When: Saturday 21 August 2021, 11.00am – 7.00pm. Anything Else: Please bring a packed lunch and a water bottle. Price: £20.00 (This will cover the cost of return coach travel from designated pick-up points, all the activities of the day, and a hot dinner in the evening). Please note that bus routes, pick up and drop off times are approximate and will be confirmed in due course.
