Girls’ Camp is a fun-filled week! Our days are packed with activities and trips as well as time learning more about who Jesus is, what He has done for us and what this means for our lives.

We do lots of different activities on and offsite, including games on the beach, Woodlands, early morning swimming, kayaking, climbing, ziplining, hunting leaders in disguise in Dartmouth, playing on (and off) inflatables, heading out on night walks, making music, crafts and friends… and lots more!

At the heart of the week, however, is developing a deeper understanding of God’s love for us all through teaching, worship, prayer and small group discussions. We are blessed at Girls’ Camp each year with an incredible team of leaders who get alongside the campers and help and encourage them in their walks with God... and, of course, with an incredible set of girls who challenge and inspire us just as much!

Girls’ Camp is a great way to spend a week of the summer. Make new friends, reconnect with old ones and have an awesome holiday in a beautiful location in South Devon. We’d love you to join us for Girls’ Camp 2018!

  • Thank you for all your hard work. It's great that the girls have a camp like this to help them on their faith journey.

Meet the Leader

Hello!

I’m Megan and have been coming to DCYC since 2002. I love what Girls’ Camp is all about – knowing more of God, having fun and making new friends – and count it a real privilege to come back each year!

As teachers, Emma and I love spending time with young people and helping them to see more of who they have been created to be. Camp is such a formative, special time and the friendships made in a field in Devon are lifelong.

Bring on Girls’ Camp 2018!

Hi, I’m Emma, one of the managers for Girls’ Camp 2018!

Unlike Megan, I didn’t grow up attending DCYC, but one year she persuaded me to come as a leader and I’ve been back every year since! I pray that the girls who attend camp this year would come to understand who Jesus is, what He has done for them and that they would build strong friendships so as to support and encourage each other in their walks with him.

I am extremely excited to be part of the DCYC team and count it a real privilege to be able to spend a week of the summer with these amazing young people!
