DCYC Bliss Camp runs alongside Partnership Southwest provides families with an opportunity to unwind and spend quality time together in a safe, friendly and relaxed environment enjoying spectacular views of the South Devon coastline. Good Christian teaching is provided by resident Padres and children's work across a variety of age groups is available.

The site is well equipped and the catering team will make sure that all hungry mouths are fed. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding area including Blackpool Sand beach, and the beautiful town of Dartmouth. A wide selection of both on and offsite activities will also be laid on for those wishing to join in such as archery, kayaking, crafts, football, volleyball and rounders.

We love to welcome visitors to Bliss Camp but we do ask that you bring your own food with you and that you contact us on the email address below to advise us of when you will be joining us.

  • I had an amazing time with you all at DCYC Family Camp. Thank you for a fantastic holiday! I enjoyed most the welcome, friendliness, and laid back atmosphere that continued throughout the holiday. Thanks so much.

Meet the Leader

We are Adam and Jen and we currently live in Exeter and have just returned from 7 months travelling the USA, Canada and Mexico. Our understanding and relationship with God and each other was strengthened throughout this time and we feel progressing as managers of Bliss camp is very God-given! Adam is a manager for the Co-op and Jen is a part-time English teacher, but is also trying to set up her own interiors business on the side. They have been married for nearly 5 years and have a cat called Patty.

We have been involved with DCYC for a combined total of 26 years! Jen started going to Girls Camp as a camper and worked her way up through the mixed camps and has also been a leader at both Girls Camp and Junior Mixed. Adam has been a leader at Junior Mixed for the past 7 years and the camp holds a special place in both of their hearts.

This year was our first year at Bliss camp and we loved it! The combination of God's word, fellowship, fun...and, of course, that view (!) ensured a great way to spend the Bank Holiday weekend!

Our passion for Bliss camp is to see relationships between people and churches strengthened through fellowship with one another: from the young to not so young, from all walks of life and from all denominations. We want Bliss to transcend boundaries where denominations fail and to encompass all people under the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

So, if you are looking for a Bank Holiday weekend of great fun, great fellowship and great food (!) Bliss camp might just be the place for you!
